I am a literary scholar and teacher who specializes in eighteenth-century studies, Romanticism, and disability studies, with related interests in the history of medicine, race and empire, gender, and critical theory. My work has appeared in Eighteenth-Century Life and Eighteenth-Century Studies, and my academic book reviews have appeared in Critical Inquiry and Eighteenth-Century Studies. I am currently working on a book project, entitled Formal Accommodations: Disability and Political Economy in Romantic Literature, and co-editing a volume on disability and the archive.

I am a Visiting Assistant Professor of English at the George Washington University. Before coming to GW, I completed my Ph.D. in the Department of English at UCLA.
